Shoe craftsmen aspiring to be shoemakers hold an exhibition of their work in a shoe class.

An exhibition of works from “The Shoemaker’s Class,” a shoe making class in Arakawa Ward, Tokyo, will start on July 29. Shoes by aspiring shoemakers who aim to create works of art that go beyond the concept of “leather shoes”. The works of the lecturers including the shoemaker Noriyuki Misawa who presides over the class will also be exhibited.
